Auffenberg Dealer Group Donates New Vehicle
Meghan J., St. Louis resident and employee at Schnucks, won a new 2026 Ford Maverick through the United Way of Greater St. Louis (UWGSL) annual Watch.Enter.Win!
Schnucks has long supported United Way’s efforts to help local neighbors live and thrive. Through her giving, Meghan represents the charitable spirit and community commitment that Schnucks champions across the region. Winning the vehicle was an unexpected and exciting culmination of her support for United Way.
“My manager came through and asked me if I wanted to donate to United Way and I said, ‘Sure, it’s for a good cause,’” said Meghan. “I was surprised, I usually don’t win things, so this was awesome!”
The vehicle is a key part of an annual donation to UWGSL by O’Fallon, IL based Auffenberg Dealer Group to help increase UWGSL’s visibility and impact through the local campaign. In addition to donating a car, Auffenberg and their employees contributed more than $30,000 to the UWGSL 2025 community campaign.
“We are always so happy to celebrate people who consistently answer the call to support United Way, and this annual Watch.Enter.Win! promotion is a great way for us to say, ‘Thank you,’” said Michelle D. Tucker, President and CEO of United Way of Greater St. Louis. “Auffenberg Dealer Group has long been a partner in making this possible and supporting our mission to help people live their best possible lives. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and the generosity they’ve shown by sponsoring this event, donating this car, and contributing to United Way’s campaign”
For more than 20 years, Auffenberg Dealer Group has generously donated a car for the Watch.Enter.Win! promotion. This is a special way for UWGSL’s supporters to win a car by watching UWGSL’s mission video and entering the promotion.
“We’ve done this for a number of years, and I think the original intent was to get more people to come to the presentations about United Way that their companies provide, and when people come to a presentation where they know they have a chance to win a car, it gets them to stay till the end,” said Jamie Auffenberg, President of Auffenberg Dealer Group. “We’re really happy for the winner, it’s always great to see someone solve a transportation need that has one.”
UWGSL helps 1 in 3 people across 16 counties throughout Missouri and Illinois supported by programs, services, and initiatives that help meet their immediate and long-term needs. Their work focuses on five key areas: basic needs, youth and early childhood success, financial mobility, health and well-being, and community stability and crisis response.
