Get On Board Virtual Workshop & In-person Networking Event
2 Days of Board Engagement

Step into Board Leadership. United Way invites you to a training opportunity designed to prepare you for board leadership. Whether you are new to serving on a nonprofit board or could use a refresher, this program will enhance your understanding of effective board governance. 

Day 1: Get On Board Virtual Workshop

Day 2: Get On Board In-person Networking Event
March 26 | 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm | St. Louis County Library – Clark Family Branch, Room D

This in-person event is an opportunity to put your skills to work and network with experienced Board leaders. Hear from experienced nonprofit board leaders and connect with nonprofit partner agencies who will be on-site to discuss available board positions.

Unite With Us Days

Unite With Us Days return in April with more ways and more places to get involved during Global Volunteer Month. April 10 and 11th are exclusive opportunities reserved at one of the UWGSL-supported agencies across Missouri and Illinois. Experience firsthand the impact and volunteer with fellow Leadership Givers and community champions. Bring your family, friends, and coworkers to this community-wide volunteer event. Let’s unite!

We’ve also added an exciting new opportunity—volunteer at the VEX Robotics World Championship, the largest student robotics competition in the world. Hosted by the Robotics Education & Competition Foundation (RECF), whose global mission is to equip educators with competition, education, and workforce‑readiness programs that increase student engagement in STEM and computer science. No robotics experience needed—just enthusiasm for supporting future STEM innovators.
